Quinta das Origens

Quinta das Origens opened its doors in July 2022, as a project to create a completely new equestrian center, taking advantage of the ideal conditions in the Ribatejana area of Portugal.

Located in Cartaxo, 40 minutes from Lisbon and with direct access from the N3, our activity is focused on the breeding and development of show jumping horses, with all the necessary infrastructure for this purpose.

• Stables with 11 boxes measuring 3.5m x 3.5m and 1 box measuring 3.5m x 4m, equipped with individual window, automatic drinking fountains and stainless steel feeders. We also have 2 shower areas with hot water and 2 equipment areas with rubber floors and a solarium. In addition, a comfortable tack room for storing riding equipment, a room for storing and controlling feed, 1 laundry room equipped with a shower for the rider's use and 2 bathrooms.

• Riding arena 80m x 40m, with Ebb & Flow footing, equipped with obstacles

• 16m diameter pen for lunging

• Horse Walker with space for 4 horses simultaneously

• 8 Paddocks measuring approximately 16m x 28m for horses in Box regime, equipped with automatic drinking fountains, feeders and trees for shade

• 6 Paddocks measuring approximately 70m x 25m for horses in the Field regime, equipped with drinking troughs, feeders and trees for shade

What are our services?

We receive horses under 2 regimes:

• Box-Paddock: box + individual paddock + access and use of facilities + hay and feed management



• Field: shared paddock + hay management (+ feed management for foals up to 1 year of age)
